Skill changes
Windia has a set of many skill changes, to spice up the game as well as improve on its balance.
Most skill changes are displayed in-game in the tooltip, but some have additional effects that are not.
Listed value changes will apply to the skill's final level. Most skills will receive their custom changes when the maximum level is reached, others will be consistent as points are assigned.
The following listed changes are the changes of skills when compared to the stock MapleStory v0.84 data.
We have added a new job, Ironman. Unlock it by reaching 1,000 Legion level and creating an explorer character. You will be prompted to create one. Ironman cannot trade by any means.
We also have a custom implementation for the 4th job of Cygnus Knights. Cygnus Knights reach level 255 like everyone else and gain AP normally. To advance to 4th job, talk to Neinheart after reaching level 120 and having the 3rd advancement.

- Ranged skills (bow, crossbow, gun) can be used from close range rather than inflicting knockback.
- Buff skills: Buff skills without cooltime have had their duration increased to 300s.

- Decent skills: Decent buff skills will only apply to yourself, and cannot be used in instances (PQs, boss fights).

- Note: Evan learns said skills upon reaching the 9th advancement.

- Weapon multipliers:
- Mace (1h): 3.2x -> 3.0x for stab action.
- Axe (1h): 4.4x/3.2x -> 4.0x for both stab/swing actions.
- Axe (2h): 4.8x/3.4x -> 4.6x for both stab/swing actions.
- Damage formulas:
- Claw: Removed STR scaling. DEX is the only secondary stat.
- Dagger: Removed STR scaling. DEX is the only secondary stat.
Beginner, Noblesse:
- All attacks have capped attack speed after reaching level 120.
- Passively gains 75% mastery after reaching level 120.
- Receives all decent buffs after reaching level 120. Removed after job advancement.

Legend (Aran):
- All attacks have capped attack speed after reaching level 120.
- All attacks hit critical damage (200%) after reaching level 150.
- Attack chain delay is removed after reaching level 30.
- Basic pole arm attacks only hit up to 8 monsters now. Damage is no longer split damage across mobs hit.
- Learns Combat Step after reaching level 30. However, it can only be used by double-tapping an arrow key, rather than being bound to the keyboard.
- Passively gains 75% mastery after reaching level 120.
- Receives permanent 2x EXP rate passively after reaching level 70.
Aran:
- Basic pole arm attacks only hit up to 8 monsters now. Damage is no longer split damage across mobs hit.
- Passively gains 15% critical rate.
